“I, Too, Am America”

I had the great pleasure to be a guest on KCUR to talk about my favorite art exhibition that has happened in Kansas City this year – “I, Too, Am America”.  It was a product of the Stand Up KC workers collective, the Langston Hughes Club and was a powerful statement about art and life.  Here’s a great New York Times Article that talks about the exhibition http://www.nytimes.com/2015/05/02/arts/design/i-too-am-america-shares-snapshots-from-workers-living-on-the-edge.html?smid=tw-share&_r=0

More here about the amazing exhibit and a radio conversation I was honored to be a part of…

This Fall and Winter I will be working with the Langston Hughes Club members to expand their art practice into documentary filmmaking and I couldn’t be more pleased.
